Most of these guys would gag at spending 500 bucks on a custom hunting knife when you can get a chit house Buck that will do the same thing for $65.00. But the custom knife scratches an itch that some of us have for the finer things in life. Would you rather leave a loved custom knife to your favourite grandson, or a crappy mass produced Buck?
That is a question that will not be answered for you by us guys. If you love guns, and that HS scratches your itch then take your lumps and shell out the cash. If you are a practical man that just needs a hunting rifle, you won't be 'cheaping out' by going with one of the other mass produced brands.
Trust yourself, you will make the right decision. Plus, ain't nobody saying you can't buy that beauty later on in life when you have a few more pennies to spend.
