Time I stepped in. This is John at Wolverine Supplies, we supplied the stock in question. We took it off a NIB Remington 700P .308 rifle as we sold this rifle fitted in an AICS.
The customer first spoke to Ryan over the phone and was offered this “take off” stock for $195 and told it was new and had simply been taken of the 700P. We were unaware that this stock was anything but standard.
When the customer contacted us after he had received the stock, he was told if he was not happy simply return the stock for a refund. As a new price for this stock is approx $500, it would appear that the customer is no hurry to return it. We are waiting for the return of this stock before we will process any refund.
Our standard policy is to refund the total value of the goods if returned in the same condition that we supplied them in. If the goods are faulty (as it would appear in this case) then a full refund would be in order including all shipping costs, but we will not commit to that until we have had the opportunity to examine the goods.
This is a large public forum that we do not have time to monitor closely, if you are looking for the fastest response please e-mail us directly.
If anyone is not happy with us, our product, our staff or our service at least have the courtesy to give us the opportunity to correct things first, before going on a public forum.
