For those that have been scouring the country looking for H1000, Higginson's shipment is on it's way.:dancingbanana: For those that care about such things, it's coming in 8 pound jugs and that's how he's selling it. I got my name on 5 of 'em.:D

Dogleg, pardon my curiosity but how many rifles do you feed with that powder??
Out of the 70 or more long guns I have only one chambering likes it and that is a 6.5x55...

The worst offender is my .338 Edge, which will eat a pound a day if not watched closely. I've made a major shift from RL22 in the .300s when I proved to myself that long range accuracy, low ES and temperature insensitivity were in a different league. At the current time I've got 5 of those. H1000 is a classic powder for the STW, of which I've got 2. The list goes on, including some that I haven't tried it in but would have if I wasn't trying to stretch my last few cases out while searching for more.

Hey, you have 5 more guns than me :D. I'm feeling better already.

Not trying to hi-jack your thread, but I had this opinion about rifles :
Some is good, more is better, too many is just enough !
Now, at 63 I'm starting to get different ideas.
When I moved from Saskatoon to BC 20 yrs. ago, I had 4 long guns and I currently have more gun safes than that !! :)

I'm thinking it's time to do some herd thinning too. Buy fewer and better, buy components and go hunting instead.
