h110 powder

I agree with H4831 - I've shot up something like 30 lb of it in cast bullet loads for .257 Roberts, 6.5x55, 30 30, 30 40, 308, 30 06, .303 Brit, and 35 - 303 generally with very good accuracy and no incidents. My 45 70 didn't do well with it, and since I have a very good load with 2400, I didn't try very hard.

Originally made for the .30 Carbine and 110 grain bullets oddly enough, but it's mostly used in the 'big' handgun cartridges and .410 shotguns now. Sits at Number 63 on the burn rate chart. Win 296 and the 4227's are 64 to 66.
Having a can of a powder for which you don't have a firearm that needs it, is a reason to buy said firearm. A nice Ruger Super Redhawk comes to mind.
More fun to put it into an ash tray and throw a match on it. Had a bad can of some pistol powder, long ago. Created a 10 plus foot high column of flame exactly the diameter of the ash tray.
