I am working up a load for my 6.5 Creedmoor(Weatherby Vanguard)using H380 and 130 GR Accubonds.I have bin using H4350 with my 129 LRAB but I have a lot of H380 so decided to try it.
The Hogdons reloading magazine had a load for it with 140 A-Max so started off .5 gr higher than min load, had a pretty good node at 35.5 grs. but kept working it up.Got to 38 grs and just about made 1 hole(2 touching and 3rd not to far off. .41 so under .5 inch).
I am using fireformed 22-250 brass.
So for the coincidence part the late Bruce Hogdon named the H380 powder that because he made one hole with 38 grs of it with his wildcat 22-250 and I think it was a 52 gr bullet.
Got a little tweaking I can do yet but hopefully I can make one hole with it.

My pet load in at least 4 - 220 Swift rifles was 43 grains of H380 behind a 55 grain HP
Always gave stellar velocities and ½ moa or better groups.

It also meters so nicely!! I threw charges out of a measure, using H380, and they never
varied from charge to charge. Dave.
