H380 for the 22-250

Still using the tried and true 38gr of h380 for my coyote loads in 22-250 only downside is if you shoot in the last few min of light you may blind yourself with the flash! It's a dang flashy powder that's for sure.

I run 38.6 grains of H380 with 55 gr Nosler Ballistic Tip Varmints. It's been terrific for me. Downed a coyote at 550 yards. It doesn't exit either, very fur friendly, accurate, and fast.

Totally agree that the 22-250 needs a faster twist barrel. H380 has been my go to powder for many years with 52 and 55 gr bullets, 5895 also works good. Wore out several 788 barrels back in the 70's and 80's shooting gophers. Red mist everywhere.
