H4831, Eagleye, and Ganderite..........

I'd just like to add my thanks to all those distinguished members mentioned previously. I have learned a lot from them and keep on learning, A big part of why shooting, collecting, hand-loading and hunting with firearms is so enjoyable is because so many good people are willing to share their knowledge and experiences. I do wish the discussion on this forum was more polite at times, and hope the rude ones don't discourage the mentors too much. A lot of us really appreciate that you share your experience!

It's rare that I agree with pretty much everything that an individual posts, but so far that has been the case with Eagleye. He brings a rare balance of experience technical knowledge and common sense to the forum. In other words, he is the exact opposite of Sunray.

All of these guys are a credit to our community. Their patience, in particular, has to be acknowledged. They clearly practice the philosophy "pay it forward" when it comes to reloading knowledge.

My dad used to be my go-to person for all things gun related. He provides advice no-more...so any of you that take the time to post, thank you! I realize it takes some effort to post at times and I don't always comment on individual posts, but I sure do appreciate those I read!

How about BigedP51 (?) ? I probably got that name screwed up somewhere but it's close. He's not Canadian but he also has a wealth of info that he shares with great photo's to help with explanations. Quite an interesting guy, methinks he flew in Vietnam and has a book about his experience. I've contacted him once and his lengthy reply was very informative, very helpful. We're lucky to have ALL those guys on this web/forum. Thanks to all. BB

The only aircraft I fly or have ever flown are small RC helicopters, I use them to chase the cats around the house. As you can see below the cats are afraid of my RC helicopters "BUT" they do get even with me.

You are correct that I'm an American "BUT" I have been plotting with other Americans to attack Vancouver and get our Star Gate back so you Canadians can't let anymore illegal aliens into our country.

The only thing you got right in your posting is I like helping other people, "BUT" I'm not in the same class as H4831, Eagleye, or Ganderite.

And for some reason my cats do not like Canadians even when I try to "rescue" them.

So just remember I tell my cats I'm Canadian, and the best thing about myself is I'm not related to sunray in any way.

Thanks to all those that share their experience with us. We come together here with a myriad of interests. When I started off down the trail of collecting, reloading and shooting, I mostly learned either by trial and many errors, and books.

Now I can post a question or an observation and have answers in mere minutes. Sometimes it may not be the reply I like, but, after all, I was the one who stuck my head up. :)

I have to agree on the list of "resource members". In recent conversations WHY NOT has been very accessible and helpful sharing his knowledge so I don't have to try and catch up many decades on my own.
