H4831 versus H4831 SC

Hi Guys,

What`s the scoop on H4831 and H4831SC. I was checking out loads for my 240 Weatherby mag and I was noticing that both powders could be used but the H4831 had loads listed at 1.5 grains less than H4831SC powder

The H4831SC is the H4831 with smaller grains. The SC means Short Cut.

As far as I know that is the only difference. The smaller cut powder ( SC ) measures
out easier & probably burns a little faster.

I was advised that the two were interchangeable grain for grain. The short cut meters better. I'm using it in my 300wm.

Okay thanks. I sometimes wonder about some loading info in print I know the SC worked well for me. Three shot group @ 100 yards you can cover with a nickle, out the window Can`t wait to get on the bench.
