Been reloading for quite a number of years last time i bought components you could get whatever you wanted at your local gun shop,which happened to be in a hardware store,here anyway.I was quite stocked up on everything till this year,what a difference 5 yrs have made,have been looking for h4831sc it seems it's rare as hens teeth,imr 4831 same thing.I am down to my last lb of 4064 and win760,but would like to go back to 4831 for my .270.My ? is does anyone have any leads on either of these powders?Brandon gun show on this week end hopefully i can rustle something up there thx for any input....bob

The whole country is looking for reliable sources.. Try Hummason Manufacturing Co or higginson powders, you may have to do a gruop buy though to afford buying in volume

Only one i haven't been able to get is h4831sc. Declined it once.. I regret it. But for the most part though not connivence store easy. If you search you shall find. Just not large amounts..

I've had good success this year just back ordering through Cabelas and waiting. I've had two orders filled, probably had to wait a couple months each time.

Yea, sometimes you have to buy extra when you come across it. I have a 5lb box of H4831sc here, but that is all I use with my 260 so it will get used up soon enough.

That was from a Higginsons group buy back when I was living in Victoria a couple of years ago.
