Had a good shoot on the weekend :)

I shot yesterday at a 50yd .22lr benchrest shoot and shot my best score so far with a 500 23x out of a possible 500 50x. I then shot my last 6 rounds i had in the box for a group and I think it goruped pretty good considering I shot out aiming point. Here is a pic of the group.

The rifle used was a Remington 40X (not a custom shop version) using CenterX

I have added a 3" plate the the rifle since that pic. It helped alot on how it rides in the bag as I went to a edgewood 3" front bag as well. The front plate I had a machinist make for me it fits up into the factory recess for the handstop rail and uses the factory screws so the stock wasnt modified in any way.

Try a Maverick 88 12 ga. with #9 shot next time! Will help to bring the x count up. lol
