Every once in a while...if you do enough experimenting...spend enough time at the range...put enough bullets through enough guns...you'll have a WOW moment. That happened to us today. I had just changed the barrel tuner on my Browning Safari II semi-auto (300wm) from the break type to the straight one. This was due to the INSANE level of ear ringing blast that I got when firing it the first time with the break on it.
I brought some 180 grain Hornady flat bottom soft points over 72 grains of 7828SSC powder. I decided to start the tuning process at the recommended setting of 4. My shoulder is a little messed up right now, so our very own Icehunter121 agreed to do the shooting for me. This was the result right off the hop. That's some fine shooting Ice !!!! Can't wait for moose season !!! I make this to be a 5/16" group of 3. Yea...I'm happy with the gun
