Nope, not what you're thinking. I'm not talking about accuracy,.....AT ALL! the actual truth is that I wasn't aiming all that much at the paper period. Today was a function test for ME! Back in June I lost my left thumb and partially severed two fingers at work. The thumb is reattached but shorter and thinner with little sensation and the end knuckle is fused. Two fingers are repaired but quite messed up. I have been to physio twice a week since then and have been reconsidering the shooting sports due to the injuries. Today was my first time back at it and I really didn't know how it would be with the recoil and grip and cocking (I'm a left hand cocker). Well, after adjusting to right handed cocking I think I'll keep the revolvers! Things went well. Except for the cold (very poor circulation now) I can still do everything. The taurus and the dan wessons are hard due to the double lock but hey, a little practice and I'll be just as crappy a shot as I was before! Next time I'll bring the autos and see how cocking the slide is. I don't have enough grip strength to do it yet and I may never get it back so I may have to do the right to left shuffle and hope for no FTEs! Was a good day!
Cheers

That is good news. Don't give up for where there is a will there is always a way.

Awesome that you can still do it. Sure you can shoot the autos, just hook the front sight against the edge of the bench or some other handy thing and push the gun forward instead of pulling the slide back.
