Ok, Lucky..... a non-firing reproduction is legal, a real-deal antique is legal, and a reproduction of a percussion/flintlock pistol is required to be a registered, restricted firearm.
If you don't own a genuine antique six-shooter with papers, then buy a repro of an old six shooter from the states! No problem, they're usually heavy and nice.
That's my thinking, but Customs has noticed a trend in my ordering habits, and every package I get now is a month late and wrapped in yellow tape, literally. When I bought night vision they verbally grilled me on why I wanted it and how I could afford it, before they'd allow me to have my property I'd purchased. I don't even want to imagine the trouble they'll give me when they find what looks to be a revolver in a package I'm getting. At first they'll say, "Ah-ha we knew he'd try it!" then they'll realize it's not real, maybe, and they'll say, "Ah-ha trying to import prohibited replica firearms, we knew he'd try it." And I've tried to contact them on the phone before, they don't answer phones during normal business hours, even direct lines. I really really don't want to have to deal with them, I'm just so tired of it.
Well I've got my options, thanks. Maybe it's time to go back to plan B.
Time to sign off before the increasingly common class come along and tell of the perils of wearing a mask in public.
