I usually man the door for the candy giveaway. We can get over 200 kids trick or treating on nights with good weather here. I always tell the older kids (in high school maybe) “You gotta say the line” “trick or treat”.

Used to take the kids out to trick or treat in our neighbourhood, but now one is 28 and the other is 25 so we just stay home and hand out candy to the trick or treaters! No pumpkin carvings anymore either
