HALO type SMG - CRAZY!!!! Videos added

There's no doubt it cocks by pulling that lever on the bottom, but there isn't enough room for a conventional bolt to reciprocate in that thin housing in front of the grip loop; they might have gone to a very thin "flapper"-style bolt attached to a heavy coil tension spring running along that housing, but then you'd have to be built like a chimpanzee just to #### it. The benefit of the flywheel arrangement is that it cocks with no more force than any other design, but it has enough mechanical advantage that it retards the firing pressures with a lightweight bolt.

That's totally cool (sorry not a very technical reply I realize)! Very original. Kind of looks like a gun version of a sawz-all.

That side-shot above makes me think even MORE that this is a "fly-wheel" design; you can see an imprint of where the fly-wheel would have to be, with the bolt impingement point just above the bore-line.

The only thing is, this thing appears to be a whole lot MORE controllable than any of the full-auto Glocks I've fired (17, 18, and 23); if they produced it in a calibre that made more sense, and with a decent-capacity mag, it would be the cat's ass.

I think that it is countering upward recoil by mounting the hammer upside down as well as using a flywheel action...that way there is two counteracting centrifuges along with the compensator all acting towards stabilization...it obviously has an autosear of some kind and by the above picture it appears that all the firecontrol assembly pins are above the bolt channel
