That three finger spring is a fussy #####. It's easy for it to jump slightly out of place and mess the works up. Assuming you really did get your sear and the disconnector in correctly then this is the most likely source for troubles. Ganderite neatly described the fix for handling it.
I'd also suggest that you are not as wise on the internals as you think if you can't analyze and determine the cause of your present problem. You may want to re-think your plan to swap out the trigger group. There is quite a bit of fussy fitting to do during this sort of swap. And when it's all done it's not uncommon to find out that your thumb safety doesn't work any more.
You see in the 1911 each part works like it's in a train. So as the small tolerances for each part add up the LAST part, which is the thumb safety, ends up having to be adjusted to deal with the small errors of all the other parts before it.
This fitting issue starts right with the trigger bow. A big reason for fitting a new trigger is to get rid of the slop and play in the trigger and make the feel more consistent. Well there's a lot of small bending and tweaking to get the trigger bow to fit in the slots so there's no up and down or sideways play but also be able to slide easily back and forth. And that's just the FIRST part. Each part in the chain of parts has its own little issues.
You might also want to turn off the auto complete or point your fingers a little better to get the typing a little more accurate. Your posts look like a spelling salad at first glance and that makes it hard to figure out what you're saying.
hammer cocks but wont come forward
think i got the problem figured out, the end of the hammer spur that goes into the mainspring housing snapped off, gona get a new one to see if that solves it, to those that provided comedy & actual help, thank you, to those that felt the need to critique my grammar...really? thats what you would call "help".....

So the info I gave didn't help at all? In any event I noticed that this last post is eminently more readable on the first. Was it really that hard to compose your last post in such a clear and readable manner? I understand that spelling mistakes and typos happen. But when the result is nearly unreadable I speak up. So sue me...
It's all about respect for those that you are asking for help. If you don't express yourself clearly don't be surprised if less folks volunteer to help.
Stick me on your ignore list if you like. It's no skin of my nose.
And just so there's some actual value to this post you SHOULD be able to find a new hammer strut for a 1911 at any local gunsmith.
