hammer extension for BL-22

i have bought 2 different extension, both were to fit, but don't. One was a uncle mikes for Browning BLR (1981-1991), the other RMC , from Gander Mountian.

Does anybody know where to get the right one???

I have a orignal one for Marlin L.A.
I don't have a browning to compate it with thou.
I you are want, I could dig it out and measure
it for you .I don't remember the price-$20.oo??

as gunrunner says , necessity is the mother of invention. uncle mikes hammer extensions are different for every model that they offer them in anyway. the hammer on a bl-22 is different than a BLR center fire and so on. a bit of grinding with a dremel tool or filing can make them fit.the extensions for a marlin336 for example, are different from an older marlin 36 because the hammers are different.you can make them fit.

I have filed one of them down, it will fit, but because it lips over the sides, it will not let the hammer ####. So I still dont not know what to do! Does anybody know a gunsmtih in the Kingston, Ontario area I could go see?
