Hammer Help! Smith and Wesson New Model 3 Double Action (44 Russian)

I recently purchased an antique Smith & Wesson new model 3. The gun works great in double action, but will not cycle in single action. The trigger gets stuck. I’ve taken it apart and it looks like the hammer has had “work” done to it. I was wondering if anyone knows where I could locate a double action hammer for this gun.

The New Model #3 is a single action only. Are talking about a 1st. Mod. DA? There's a parts gun for sale on the Smith & Wesson Forum. If it's sold it would be worth joining the site both for information and to access their "Wanted" section. Picture one in my NM#3. Picture 2 is my 1st. Model Double Action.
