Hammer nose on S&W 10-5: pre- or post-1988 ?

I would like to order a new hammer nose (firing pin) for my PPC race gun.
It's a S&W model 10-5. Bought is used, around 1998, I don't know the manufacturing date. So what's the difference between pre- and post-1988 hammer nose ? which one I should order ?

Pre-88. The 10-5 was made in the early 60's.

If you send the serial number with the order they should be able to figure it out.
