Larry carter of Larrys guns an expert on 208 says not to use chemicals on gun to clean. The manual says to use patch through barrel but does not specify what to clean it with if anything. Manual furthur states to use sewing machine or other non resinous oil not gun oil to lube slide. Manual states to only use light coating of gun oil in barrel. Anyone cleaning their 208 barrel? and with what method. Larry of Larrys guns also says to put cleaing rod down muzzle and then affix swab and pull through, states should never push rod through from chamber end. He stated this at a lecture to the U.S. Marine pistol team who uses Hammerlis at Camp Perry. What are you Hammerli owners doing?
