My favourite gun I've ever owned was my .50AE Desert Eagle. Not just for its badass looks, but the amazing power is just plain ol' fun. Makes you smile every time you pull the trigger. I'm looking for my next uber handgun and any suggestions, pictures, videos, whatever. Show me what you got!

Your current hand cannon options are pretty much revolvers. e.g. 460 and 500 S&W, 45-70 BFR, Freedom Arm 83 from 454-50....

Other than the DE, if you want a unique magnum auto, you need to look at the beauties from yesteryear like the Wildey, LAR Grizzly, and the king - Automag. You pretty much have to be a reloader though, unless you can find the LAR Grizzly in 50AE or 44 mag, but those are super rare.

That Wildley is pretty cool looking. Never heard of it before. I was on the fence about wether I'd want a 454 or a 500 S&W. I'm probably leaning more towards the 500, Been a big fan of that gun for a long time!

Don't forget the single shot pistols. Break-action Thompson/Center, Falling-block MOA Maximum. I personally own a Lone Eagle in 308, sadly not made anymore, probably for good reason.

Nice gun
Your firearms safety needs a little work. I appreciate you probably cleared that pistol 10 times before starting the video, but in under three minutes you disregarded
1) treat all firearms as if they are loaded
2) keep your finger off the trigger until your ready to shoot
3) muzzle control

Sorry but I'm absolutely set on firearms safety... If you practice them religiously you will never have a negligent discharge blowing your buddies leg off standing next to you.

Take it for what it's worth...

I've seen more than my share of guys and gals who were absolutely sure their firearm was unloaded and clear and then boom... Yup seen it, investigated it, and plugged holes in The human body. You've seen nothing until you have seen a contact gun shot wound to the body... The damage is truly amazing

Again take it for what it's worth....

point taken. I do find in a lot of my videos poor finger diciplen. I think I pay more attention to the camera or what I'm saying, and sometimes the finger wanders inside the trigger guard. That is something that I've been trying to pay more attention to latterly as a few people have pointed it out.

Didn't Clint Eastwood also switch to a Wildey in Sudden Impact at the end? I think he shoots straight through a hydro pole to smoke one of the baddies, too, if memory serves me correctly.

My 10.5" Performance Center 500 S&W. For reference is my little hand cannon, the 7.5" Super Blackhawk Hunter. Out of all of the pistols and revolvers I own these are without a doubt my two favorites to shoot.

I believe that pistol was actually given to Eastwood by the original Automag Corp founder, Harry Sanford.

I love my power house even if by standard the 44 mag is less than other... JP.

Out of curiousty , how much does your ammo cost......I have a 44 mag. Redhawk , and shells are about a buck each now , so the Redhawk does not get much regular use anymore.....
