Well i dont have a restricted Lic. or i would probly know this. I was woundering if i can legally discarge a fire arm at my house can i shoot a hand gun here too? i have been told you can only use them at a range? if that would be the case i would not try to get a permit. thanks guys

I thought if you didn't have any town or municipal regulations preventing discharge, you could go to the CFO and build a range to their satisfaction on your property, and shoot your (and only your) restricted firearms there?

The point is, restricted only at a range. Other options that may cost thousands or take months of time (moving to the Yukon and becoming a trapper, building your own range, starting a firearms museum) are not typically mentioned in the first breath.

Right. Gotcha. Just hoping that more will take it on if they can. :D

Sorry about that Ammo Factory, I guess you must have thought we lived in a free country. After all it must be far more dangerous to shoot a pistol on a 100 acre farm than a 600 Nitro Express rifle. I guess I am trying to apply logic here, me BAD!

Isn't that the truth, here on Vancouver Island there are no ranges templated for 50 BMG, so those with them are effectively owners of firearms that must be shot OFF a range, way safer. :bangHead:

This is you :shotgun:- This is the guy who makes the rules that you are required to follow:onCrack:
