If it's difficult, I just say...take my money.
Just had a 1886 MH in 577-450 show up...very cool.
But reading interwebs leads me to believe it shall be interesting to roll my own.
Lee mold and dies, couple dozen 24 gauge brass formed to the chamber...cool.
No decapping rod in the field kit, not so much. But I shall adapt and overcome.
I've rolled my own in 577, it seems to be a marvelous volley round at 600.
The MH had some cartridges that were capped so I trimmed up some cardboard for a tubes to insert in the case to raise the powder level to bottom of the bullet'ish. Dropped 85 grains of triple 7 in the case and pressed in some alox lubed bullets.
Aimed about 15" low at 75 paces on a punkin sized log...knocked it over anyhow.
If anyone has any tricks to impart, I'm listening.
Regards

If you can find rifle cases rather then the reformed 24 gauge cases buy them :)

I got mine years ago out of the US.

with those cases I have worked up a smokeless load using IMR4227.

case capacity is huge so using a filler or as you are doing use a cardboard liner is a must
