Lots of talk concerning hand size when thinking about what pistol or revolver will fit your hand .I myself wondered about this so maybe this will help to measure you hand . I’m looking for more information to tie it specifically to pistols and revolvers and will post up if I find anything .
Maybe some more experienced handgunners have links to information

I've never measured my hand to see what fits. I have learned to hold and shoot handguns with grips of all sizes.
 
Yeah I think you are over thinking this one. I don't usually have any issues with grip size, althought some times the controls are not as reachable. I have worked with a lot of men and women of different hand sizes that can all comfortably and successfully learn to shoot a Glock.
 
I use to wear a 9.5 glove , tight, these days I can't because of swelling.
The shape , type of the grip, revolver , or pistol, trigger type makes all the difference.
To me I hate glocks and dislike Beretta 92's as they feel wrong to me , Colts , smiths, CZ, HK, Ruger's all work great for me

Kind of like shotguns , swing it up and are you looking down the barrel?
On my main gun a smith , Look at the bull's eye, close your eyes, swing the gun up, open your eyes, and I will as a rule have the sights lines up on the target, and my eye will be lines up.
Not all the time , but most of the time, I will be on the paper.

PS just buy a bunch of ammo, or better yet, start reloading, these days , I think that is a must.
