Hand spring is lost within 1/30th of a second of removing the side plate. Search turned up nothing. Does anyone have a pic of what the hand spring on a F&W .38 rimfire revolver looks like? There are no pics whatsoever on the internet as far as I can tell. Looks like I will have to make a new one, fit it, and when the original one turns up, I will cut it up with nippers, then throw it into a jar of HCL until there is nothing left of it.
