Congratulations on a successful hunt! Gotta love the 9.3, nice big exit hole makes it easy to follow the blood trail and find your animal. I know a lot of guys like using magnum calibers and bullets that expend all their energy in the animal. This most often results in a bang-flop. However, I don't like the amount of blood shot meat this produces and I don't mind a bit of tracking. Woodleigh's are an awesome bullet and do what they are supposed to when driven at appropriate velocities.

oh we back packed up into a valley, become clear that many others have also done the same some time ago, several broken camps / campfire holes in spots.

not very cold this time round, 0 to -1 at night, 16s or so in the day. Degrees Celcius.

being in the valley too it kind of holds a pocket of warmer air at times.. can be real cold but elevation in there is low.
