Its made from sheet metal and has a shell stop at the the end.
painted and then our 2 shot velcro D.S.C attached to it with .
Then its rivited onto the stock with 1/8th inch rivets.
Its rock solid and really light. Cheap too

theres a company that makes the 2x shell mount that you see in the magpul shotgun vid.. once i remember the name i will tell you..
but if it makes you feel any better, im planning on modifying one of my safariland 2x shell holders too
I think they mentioned it in the video, blade tech IIRC
