I was quoted $36 for shipping a $12 Beretta stainless steel rod from Newmarket to Richmond Hill Ontario:(
You guys need to check your shipping options

I got quoted $50 shipping for a pistol light and a magazine and I'm only a 3 hour drive away! Gotta pass on this one unfortunately.

I can beat that...

From Newmarket, ON to Brampton, ON (51 minutes away - 65 km)

Remember, this is for a spring kit:

And to top it all off...they pretend that they wouldn't be responsible for the successful delivery of your item(s) ("optional" insurance scam, LMAO). Unfortunately for them, even though some company policies indicate the buyer is responsible for merchandise that's lost in shipping, consumer laws clearly state that the retailer is responsible. Yes, even with statements and confirmation check boxes acknowledging otherwise.

Thank you guys for pointing out the shipping cost issue, we found out there is a system error on the calculation of the shipping for this category. It has been fixed and should be back to normal now.

If you have further questions please do not hesitate to reach us and we will do our best to help you with your purchase.

$232 plus taxes and shipping to give my SP01 Shadow red accents (trigger, grips and magwell). Discount on these could be a bit steeper. Not bad though!

I'm sure it's not an "error".

$34 shipping for two Glock safety plungers and springs is extortionate.

Unless you are in an industry that deals with shipping costs, most people have no idea the ridiculous rates the shipping companies are charging now. I am not in the firearm business, I am in the appliance industry, but small fiddly parts are small fiddly parts. Full size appliances that used to cost $60-$70 to ship from Ontario to Atlantic Canada, are now costing up to $240 each. Just over the last 3 years my fed-ex and Purolator bills have more than doubled for small parts we ship to smaller markets with no part suppliers. This is retail, if you don't like the price, call the company, if you don't like their answer, spend your money elsewhere. Stop talking trash about something you know little about. This may be a bit of me venting about customers unrealistic expectations, and a bit about the general lack of common courtesy in today's world. Lord knows I have rewritten this 4 times and almost deleted it a dozen, likely I will get flamed, but someone has to speak up.

Your white-knighting for them is admirable.

A small Canada Post pre-paid national box is $17 retail price.

Some of these items show in-stock with quantity more than 1, but I received “out stock” message when adding them to cart.

So who's at fault when you pay $75 for shipping a gun, then the store comes back two weeks later and tells you there was an error in their shipping calculation and the buyer needs to pay an additional $100 before they can ship? I'm dealing with this right now - not with Rangeview - another store sponsor on here. The variables can easily be modified by the store to account for shipping supplies + time to bump up the cost. At the end of the day, retailers simply pass the blame saying "it is what it is, don't like it don't buy it". It's in everyone's best interest to advocate for lower shipping costs to CP, UPS etc.
