Handgun Ban?

before people go nuts. remember if they did a ban there will be a potentially billion dollar law suit against the government from business owners and gun owners for losses.

A billion dollars to Butts and the clown show you really think that worries them? The only thing that worries them is staying in power by any means possible and they have a much bigger tax base than the Ontario liberals did.
 
we are not Omar Kadars. the libs hate paying out to people who are conservative. plus if we sue it might hold things up in passing the law or people getting in trouble for not complying then when the conservatives get back in next year it can be dropped.

However Butts and the clown are going to try and mobilize the Trump American haters, the anyone on the right is racist crowd, anti oil pipeline losers with help from the progressives in the USA and any groups they can give millions to between now and the election. Oh least I forget the mainstream state run media.

humm.. I dunno. I think they might actually gain all the vote from most ppl around < 30. Almost all people I met who are anti are under 30. Anyone older will likely take a neutral position as 'nothing major ever happened much so why change things?' But most < 30 especially most < 25 in or just out of university are almost all anti-gun so badly (and think we are like the US in terms of gun law). But then I live THE city in BC so I always think that this city is always kinda like the San Fran of Canada...

I don’t see the point in stockpiling parts, parts should still be easily available with a gun ban. None of the parts are restricted, just usually the parts that are registered, and maybe mags.

I think a ban is coming soon, will be unveiled after the next shooting. Personally I live in a smaller city and I can say without a doubt that even 50% voted conservative in my riding, I would say 70-80% would support a handgun semi auto ban. Last couple years the gun issue has been riding heavily in the wrong direction.
 
The question isn't IF, but WHEN. There's always a call for a ban on firearms, but the current one seems to have more momentum than usual. Trou d'Eau has been continuing the process of incremental banning, but he may feel that he now has enough support to get many stages of banning done all at once, and move directly to a total ban on handguns, and possibly a total ban on semi-autos.

What momentum would that be? Some media outlets and a couple of commie city mayors/counselors? Trudeau is begging for a distraction and he is hoping a "gun ban" will be the ticket to another majority government. I have not met anyone that is buying it. Just a couple of days ago, even the Toronto (red) Star stated Trudeau has to go.

Funny how most of the ppl saying the ban is coming are from out east and everybody in the west are saying no it’s not, I’m personally stocking up on my legally obtained and licensed handguns.
 
I'm still buying as much as I can afford. Better quality HGs if anything.

I think the Trudeau Liberals are in too much trouble just now to go for another big battle with Canadians. And Trudeau Liberals are not efficient at getting anything done so far. You have NAFTA blowing up, oil pipeline issues big time, legal weed coming on stream with no way to screen impaired drivers (court challenges), Carbon Tax and half the provinces against it. I'm sure there are more. It wouldn't surprise me to see a palace revolt in the liberal back room, or another groping scandal. If Max Brenier forms a Conservative party in Quebec this could cause Trudeau issues as well.
 
Let’s not forget paying off terroists and the illegal border crossing issue and the fact that are service men and women are asking for more than the useless liberals and provide. Our selfie taking #### head of a pm is more concerned about vacations and getting dope legalized than dealing with real issues at hand.
