Handgun buying habits?

Made a vow to myself I would not buy any more this year after the month of May. I only bought four so I'm feeling pretty good about my self-discipline.:redface:

But they're not all old and crusty... some people like to buy more guns, some like to buy more ammo!
(I like to buy guns that can share ammo :D)
 
then there's people that have to have a back-up, and a back-up for that back-up- anyway, 2 or 3 of each popular caliber is enough for me- still looking for 44 mag back-up - my 45 colt converts to 45acp- so that makes 3 in that cal-

For one, I chose 6 options, then ran out of slots to put categories, but "6 or more" certainly covers those of you that have been in it awhile and accumulated enough to outfit a small army....
 
I find as I get older & with around 30 years of handgun ownership/buying/selling under my belt my tastes are a little more refined. Plus I'm at that stage of life where I can pretty much buy whatever I want. :yingyang:

Not even Strangeday's ad in the EE has got me all sweaty... :eek:
 
Up to now, I've bought only wheel guns. Roughly half have been shooters and the others are collectors. I'm sure I'll want a 1911 before long, but I'm resisting getting hooked as long as I can...

soon ill be heading with all most everything in pairs but iv also stuck to just a few calibres ...45acp...9mm. and 44mag..i dont even own a .22 yet ill ahve to work on that .......ooh i have a 762x25tt everyone should have one there so cheep
