Handgun case

I used a combination leather locking briefcase for years. They will hold 3 or 4 pistols depending on things like optics, lasers, and lights. I just added some eggshell foam.
These can be found at garage sales, flea markets, and stores like Value Village.

If you use one of these & a Laptop bag for your range gear, you can leave for and return from the range without advertising the fact your a gun owner. It can be good to go incognito when surrounded by antis or live in a high crime area.

Ummm Tuesdays has always been Bear defence shotgun day. But I see no reason it can't be moved to Thursday . Seriously, how about just buy a pistol case to transport your pistols. CT and Cabellas probably have some. I once made a custom exotic wood case way back in the day when that was popular. Still have it. Won't be caught dead using it these days. Too Fudd .

Initially,;)a 'few' years ago, when I first got involved in some of the more serious aspects of handgun shooting and bullseye paper punching, a gentleman from the Victoria area was fabricating pistol boxes. Quinton Mar. In addition to being a competitive handgun shooter of note, he was also a finish carpenter or cabinet maker. His 'creation' would hold four handguns in adjustable securable slots on a sliding tray. There are also a couple of enclosed sliding trays and a sizeable storage in the bottom area. On the hinged lid is a mount set-up for your spotting scope on an aluminium fabricated pivoting adjustable mounting bracket. A couple of 'snaps' to close the lid, in addition to a locking device on both sides as well. ;) Still have and regularly use it. :d .

Would like to see a pic of that Johnn

I'm partial to 19 inch toolboxes. Like Canadian Tire's.

Remember ranges want guns, as you remove them from your carry case, pointed down range. So long and skinny cases, are better square-ish ones. 69 bad. << good.
