I will be buying two handguns soon, and I've narrowed down my search to these four.
It must not jam/fail.
Price is not an issue.
Either 9x19 or .40 will be my choice.
It will be purchased brand new.

One thing I would like is to be able to mount my Surefire X300 on it. I don't think that is possible with the Beretta and Browning, and am not sure if they make a model which can accommodate a light!? Although I would really like that option, it is not a deal breaker.

Also,
Please stay on topic. I'm not interested in hearing everyone's opinion on other brands/models of firearms. Thanks.

Wow. 16 mins later and Sig is 50% higher than Glock. Interesting.

I went into this post with Sig my first option followed by Glock. I have a Browning Hi-Power Inglis model already and love it.
I have no experience with Beretta.

Glock gets my vote. Never had one fail on me. However, I'd probably go 17 over 22. 17 I've never had a problem firing. 100's of rounds, no issue. The 22 always makes my trigger finger sore after about 50rds. I have no clue why, but I've shot 3 different 22's and they all made my finger sore. I think it has something to do with the trigger safety.

Get the Beretta M9A1 variant, it is a 92FS with a rail for mounting a light/laser. I had one and liked it with a Streamlight TLR-1.

Those guns all have different price points, I'm curious as to why the CZ75 shadow isn't on there? I've never fired one, but I have heard good things about them.

I love my 226r. I sold my glock. I have never had a jam or heard a complaint about a 226. In fairness, I don't like plastic guns, that is a preferance choice only you can make.

Since I've owned none of these choices, I'll have to go by reputation alone - which reeeaaally makes this difficult - and go with the SIG.
If you had a CZ in there, things would've been different.
