Handgun for One Armed Lefty

The only true left-handed handgun that I know is Cabot gun South paw 1911. But it's around 5000$.
Beside, as shown by Galt's video, any pistol can be operated with only one hand and a holster. If you don't want or cannot use the slide release, pushing the rear sight on your belt or kydex holster does the job as well.

Be very careful with those "self-racking" holsters. At least one of these designs is banned from the action shooting sports, as it was prone to inducing accidental discharges.

If you want to take it apart with 1 hand the M&P might be a good choice. I would avoid the H&K USP as you have to hold the slide 1/2 way back and pull a pin, hard to do 1 handed. I think the Beretta Px4 is pretty easy to take down 1 handed as well.

I think any semi auto is easy to deal with 1 handed. Once in the holster you insert a loaded mag. Draw the weapon and while pointed downrange invert it and hook the rear sight into your belt and push the pistol away from you. You could also rack it off the table or just about any thing else around. Check with the RSO before hand so he doesn't $hit a brick when you do something he is not expecting!!! When empty dump the mag and re-holster.

FWIW, I'd suggest the semi auto route. Reloading will require a jig regardless, but for a semi the jig could simply hold magazines on the belt, whereas for a revolver I'm having a hard time imagining anything other than a table mounted contraption. Moreover, a revolver's cylinder release is on the left, which I think would be problematic for him. A fully ambi semi with a relatively light recoil spring would be just the thing.

Maybe the ideal unit would be a M&P45 or M&P9 optimized for lightweight loads (full ambi controls, simple takedown). Next choice would be a CZ 85 (harder takedown, but arguably better for one-handed shooting due to the steel frame).
