I’m guessing no transfers will be allowed as well? I have no words, this country is literally upside down. What happened to Canada. This isn’t how I knew my country to be. Such a shame.

The fact that they're putting in the extra work to ban importation of guns that would never be transferred and registered before the freeze came into effect suggests that currently initiated transfers really will go through.
Unless they actually don't know how the process works or just want to be able to tell the media they're doing more..
I guess I may have just disproven my own opinion.

The Liberals have been quietly telling their MP's to start preparing for a fall election. He wants to go asap after CPC pick a new leader, preferably Poilievre because Trudeau thinks he can beat him. Senior Liberals are warning him against it. It was reported by the Hill Times and others.

Everything he has been doing this summer points to him wanting to call it.
