Handgun magazine. None in Canada

Smith and Wesson saying new rules

They say that 4 months ago a new international treaty came into effect. No longer allowed to ship gun parts even under $100.00

Companies are allowed. They need to be licenced exporters and most companies don't want the hassle or expense of doing it. I found this out when I was looking for mags a couple months ago. A tiny fraction of US companies ship to Canada now, as this certification and paperwork is cumbersome and expensive...

Go to a Cdn S&W dealer and have them order them for you.

Smith & Wesson is not supplying them to dealers. According to North Sylva the guns have not yet been approved for Canada?

i got my mp mags off them, they are bithes about it, gave me CRAP service, I had to fill out all import documents, and get the border to tell them that 10 rnd mags were ok.

maybe they got even stupider since then... took me 6 months too AFTER the paper work... took longer then that just to get ahold of someone at SW in international service. so maybe they just decided it wasnt worth the hassle to sell to us canucks, because its not illegal if its not a barrel frame or reciever and its sub one hundred dollars

To the OP, email Numrich and send them a request for the correct 10rd mags, with model #, etc. They will tell you if they are available or not. They will export to you if they can be found.

I placed 2 orders with Numrich for Sig magazines in the last 2 months. Nothing has changed in the last 2 months in import/export of firearm/parts that I know of. Numrich is a certified exporter. Email them, they have good customer service. Is this the right mag??????:

That's right, S&W will no longer ship gun parts to individuals in Canada. They told me this when I tried to order some parts in Oct. 2011. You can add magazines into your cart online but they will not ship them. They will ship you non gun related stuff like hats and cups etc.

If they are not approved, how come Questar is selling them for $499.

I'll send a request to Brownell's on their contact page to add the M&P22 mag as a new item. It's one of the options you can pick on the drop down list. I'm waiting for a M&P22 also and will. E looking for extra mags too.

To be clear, licenced exporters like Brownells and Numrich do ship to Canada. S&W is too lazy, don't care about Canadian customers or are too cheap to export. They may tell you they are not allowed to ship them, it's because they don't want the added expense and headache (like 99.9% of other USA retailers).

I've bought parts and magazines several times from S&W with no problems before they quit doing it That's exactly what it is, it's too much paperwork for them to ship parts to Canada. They told me this the last time I tried to order parts for my 422.

Anyways I sent in a request to Brownells to add the 10 and 12 rd M&P22 mags as a Suggested New Stocked Item. Before I get flamed, I know about the 10 rd mag cap, thought I would throw in the 12's for the guys south of the border.
