Thanks for all the information it is great.
I just want to address a couple of things.
1. This information may have been covered in the course which I did a year ago but not only was the course so intense as it was a long 2 day weekend and I work my ass off all week so I am usually tired, I did not focus on handguns a lot because I had no desire or interest in handguns due to the numerous restrictions but I did my rpal as it was cheaper as a dual course combined with the non restricted course.
2. Five years ago I joined this site never having held a firearm in my life. I got interested because my friends dad hunts.
Two years ago I finally got someone to take me to a club. None of the mentors here ever replied to my ask for help but I got lucky that a friend mentioned they had an interest in the sport. My friend saw how keen I was and how well I took directions that they were happy after I shot their guns and they hooked me up with a dual course ( pal and rpal).
I probably will never buy a semi automatic or double action handgun and am only into the single action revolvers because I enjoy what I have learned by watching the cowboy action shooters.
Thanks for all the help and kindness!
