Show me a semi auto that shoots much better for under $650.00 and I'll buy it.

Buy a Norinco 1911 and put $300 into making it accurate for your $650 price limit.

The original post did not put a $650 price limit on the guns. It only talked about accuracy. It is a relative term depending on who you are talking to.

You want an accurate autopistol?

Buy an HK, or a top tier 1911. Many also speak highly of Sigs for accuracy, but I've never had one.

Get yourself a brand new East German Makarov if you want amazing groups at 25 yards..
Get an American friend to swap in an extended threaded or ported barrel(50$) and import it.
All said and done it should cost you less than 650$

You mean like my 1911C with a gunsmith fittied barrel bushing and barrel to slide, full length guide rod,and trigger tuning? It doesn't shoot any better than my M&P factory load to factory load. I use reloads through my 1911 but haven't bought the dies yet for 40S&W so it's not a fair comparison.

No the original post did not put a price limit, nor did it ask what gun is most accurate out of all pistols. It simply asked which was more accurate out of a M&P40 and a glock .

Reread my post, I recently shot my M&P and a G22 back to back and did not notice much diference between the two for accuracy. Keep in mind they were both shot be me, using no rest with the same cheap ammo. I'm sure benched they would both shoot better.
