handguns

JUST DO IT!
I've been around guns for over 25 years, and had many opportunities to shoot handguns over those years.
I got my restricted earlier this year, and am now up to six handguns (and counting).
Don't wait 'till some government decides to do another round of banning/grandfathering and leave you out in the cold.
As an aside, while I was taking my course, I also got my wife and one son into at it at the same time.
The family that shoots together...:)
/edit/ I too like the P89, will probably get the de-cocker model. First 5 were .22's, 3 autos, 2 wheel guns. Last one was a CZ75, got a good deal on it, otherwise the Ruger would have been coming home with me. /edit/

Looking over some documents obtained from a personal information request to the CFC. There is a series of checks you (and the gun) need to pass in order for the issuance of a registration certificate. There is on question asking if the individual is grandfathered for the class (restricted). Pre-planned into the software in case of a future requirement?
