Handy simple drill jig

Had a gun in today that needed a front sight. Took some photos while I had my old jig set up.

It still amaze's me on how you come up with these idea's!

Only thing i can see being a problem is getting them level with the gun so the sights arent angled to one side or the other. And id presume you take the gun out of the stock when actualy drilling.

Good set up though.

Leveling is no problem. Square up the action from the most convenient flat surface and then level the "V" blocks.

It still amaze's me on how you come up with these idea's!

My father let me use his tools long before I was responsible enough to put them away when I was done, and, after his passing, my mother taught me to make do with what you have got. (she raised 4 children on her own)
