Well Fester, I am about to let you down! LOL

Some goof keeps spending money on hunting and not finishing his dang basement. Sorry for the dungeon effect on my pics but here are Andy's look at the finished bullet.

Bullet is now .574" largest dia and now .771" long.:cool:

It feels more like a piece of pewter now than lead. Could it have work hardened?

4 shot 50yd group. .698" off bench. Measured outside of lead rings on strikes (1.129") minus one bore dia being .431"

Rifle is converted to centerfire and uses modified 348 Win cases.

That bullet really hung together - even the gas check stayed in place!

It's just air-cooled wheelweight, BHN of about 12.

I had no idea of what to expect when it came to hitting a deer so I made darn sure I hit the critical vitals. Acouple of the bullets were recovered from logs during initial testing but this one held up quite a bit better. For the amount of penetration each on did I am quite impressed.
