Older Japanese made scope for the European market. I've seen a few at gun shows for $40-$150. (The $150 price tag was by a dealer trying to pass it off as a German-made scope, who got really pi$$ed when I asked him to remove the rings so I could look underneath, as you could just see where the top of the letters said MADE IN JAPAN, as the old ring marks for the rear ring were about 2" forward of where he had moved them & the front ring had not been moved at all).
Quality is similar to the old Tasco or Bushnell made in Japan scopes. Nicer glass & guts than those made in China, People's Republic of.
