Anybody use these guys? I wanted to bring them a deer. Any feedback good or bad? Do you have to bring the deer in skinned? Or just gutted? Any idea if they will hang/age it for you? Anything you didnt like about thier service? Thanks
 
Never heard of these guys. I just picked one up from a shop outside Dover, Dekonings. A little further for you but I'm very, very happy with them.

I would give Hansens a call and ask. I called three shops here (all good reputations). One didn't do deer, and there were different prices from both butchers and different services available.
 
what sort of average prices do you think it will cost? Is there a typical per deer or per pound type charge?
 
I field dressed it. They removed they hide, $15. Disposal of hide, hooves, everything, was $10. They did roasts, chops, ground, stew chunks, ground.... what ever I asked for, cut and wrapped 50 cents a pound. They will do pepperettes, sausage, etc for an extra cost. All said and done, two over flowing large boxes of wrapped meat, $75. I am very happy today. Give them a call, 519-583-0115. Its east of Dover, on the way to Jarvis.

The other place was higher on all costs, removing the hide, disposal, and price per pound.
 
I used Dover. But I just called Hansens and from what I understand, take it in field dressed and $45 later you leave cut and wrapped. If that's right, that's a good deal!
