I checked the barrel date today, and there wasnt one. There was an "HS" overtop of the American Flaming Bomb, then a "P" stamped about 2 inches below the flaming bomb. Any clues on that?

I remember hearing somewhere that Hi Standard turned out a batch of barrels for these in War 2.

Could well be that you have one of them.

Very good if you have one; there were not all that many made.
