Kimber Gold Match II from The Shooting Edge. Ordered is last Monday, came today. I also got a .22 conversion kit and extra mags for it. Can't wait to shoot it, got a shippment of 1000 rounds 9mm & .45ACP coming by DHL tomorrow.

I got to shoot it tonight!

After dialing in the adjustable sights I was doing okay, my best group was 4.25" @ 20yrds. One of the grip screws came loose but a guy tightened it for me (need to add allen keys to the range case). I also had 3 feeding problems out of the 100 rounds I shot. Not sure what would cause this, but I noticed one of the magazines seemed tighter than the other while loading rounds in (I bought two extra mags). Other than that it went very well, there is serious recoil in this gun compared to my 9mm Beretta!

9mm is a pistol calibre, 45 auto is a bit more like a religion. Before I get burned in effigy - or flamed, that statement is true - with a 45 you have to attend the range regularly to develope and maintain adequate skill, just like church on Sunday. Very few people can just pick up a 45 and be good with it, even if they are very good with a 9 mil.
