Bits and Pieces made up a jig and mechanically straighten with hydrualics to my understanding. They also made a buffer but I have not taken the gun appart yet to look at it.

You may want to get a gunsmith to check the repair of the back end of the receiver. It may be fixed cosmetically and look nice by pushing it back where it should be, however, if it lets go while you are shooting it, the bolt will fly right back into your head, resulting in serious injury or death, as it has happened in the past on G/K43 Forum and Gunboards. When the receiver bends back it is only a matter of time before it fails. Was it welded at the back for the repair or just bend back with hydralics. See link:

Until you know, I wouldn't shoot it.

It is an AC 44

not sure if you can get a buffer or not

As for the issue with the reciever I am more then confident with the gun smith that carried out the repairs.

I have shot alot of firearms in worst repair then this one and have not fear in using it.

I appreciate any concerns regarding a possible failure.
