Happy day with the P17 today

Learning how to shoot with these sights now.

Picked off a pound of Gryphon with the iron sights at 150 Yards today (First shot at it with the P17)
Had fired a few at it with the Mosin and missed.

Then promptly ran the gongs at the same range with the next 2 shots.

Shooting hand loads (150 gr Winchester bullets backed with Imr 4064)

Sorry no pics or video this time , but it was a great day shooting the old warhorse

Was a beautiful day for it today too. Wish we would have made it out as well, oh well one more day off tomorrow yet.

It sure was
I chopped up more deadfall and put in the back of the truck , going out again tomorrow with another forum member.
Big fire , cook food and shoot .
Life is good

Another great day shooting, I only took this one attempt to get it on video.
Did manage to ring that sucker 3 for 3 once later in the day.
Again shooting hand loads I made for it(very pleased with this load)
Target again at 150 yards is a piece of I beam flange aprox 7"x9"

Captain Clifford Shore used to call them the M-17 , so make of that what you will.

You can always get into the P14 being a No3 Mk1, but I just confuse myself.
