Is there a possibility that these would end up not at the proper angle when screwed onto the tube? because that would look pretty dumb.

I guess that depends on how exact remington is with the position they start the threads at, and also the same goes for dlask.

Sometimes they don't line up. Sometimes it's not even close as in almost rotated 180º. It's nothing that a little homemade gasket to use as a spacer doesn't solve though.
 
Or a sling plate.

FWIW, the detent recess on the Dlask cap that I had did not line up with the detent ball on the Dlask 8.5" barrel.

I replaced the Dlask cap with an OEM Remington magazine cap from Brownells; it fit fine.
 
They just moved shop locations. I called them today and got through and was told that they are unpacking. Try them next week and everything will probably be back up.
 
I was wondering why I couldn't get through, where did they move to anyway?
