Happy Holidays From Wanstalls!!!

Just like other cultures want us to respect Hanukkah and Ramadan, please respect a majority holiday. CHRISTMAS. Politically correct is being ignorant. People who celebrate Christmas do not like when our holiday is watered down by ignorance. If I was in Isreal, or a Muslim country I wonder what they would say if I told them to say happy holidays instead of happy Hanukkah or Ramadan.

Politically correct is "Happy Christmas and Holidays" since wast majority are doing Christmas. Plus not my fault Judaism does not really celebrate anything significant around the end of the year. Not all Jews celebrate Hanukkah.

Happy Christmas!

Happy Solstice to you to, because Pagans don't like their holiday watered down by Christianity either.

Saying happy holidays doesn't mean that you are an infidel and don't believe in JC. Its simply a way to wish others a "happy holiday", whatever HOLIDAY it may be. Its common sense....I'm not gonna wish someone merry christmas if their not christian. If I don't know them I'm gonna say happy holidays. I am catholic and "happy holidays" doesn't offend me cause I know what my holiday is. Freedom of belief, dudes. On a side note I'm curious how many of these "hard core" christians here actually realize what chrismas is, besides pretty lights and wanstalls gift shopping.

Happy Holidays to all Wanstalls folks! You're a great bunch and I hope you enjoy some much deserved family time.
You can help me spend my money in the New Year.

My point is... saying Happy Holidays is more appropriate because you don't say Merry Christmas to people who don't celebrate Christmas...obviously.

B*llsh*t !

Christmas day 2006 I worked a barge off the coast of Quatar and was wished a hearty "Merry Christmas" by most of the 275 or so Muslims on board. We (Christians) are always invited to join in the feast, ending their fast during Ramadan as well.

Christians and Muslims, especially in this day and age, could do without the silly imaginings of PC Liberals fanning the flames of misunderstanding between our cultures. Its all about the respect, not the words.

LOL. WOW. BA-HUMBUG. ovrec Way to lose your cool Mr "Tired, Old, Sore & Cranky". Hope you feel better now! It's obvious you encompass the Canadian Christmas spirit perfectly!

I am a Canadian born Christian and wish ppl Merry Xmas ALL THE TIME! Relax. All I was saying is there is NOTHING WRONG with Wanstall's saying Happy Holidays instead of Merry Xmas when addressing a PUBLIC forum. It simply applies to more people. Why do people gotta get on their case and be negative about something with good intentions?

That's my opinion. You have yours. U don't like it? Deal with it. U can disagree all u want.

This thread has snowballed outta control. For a bunch of grown ass men with such a macho hobby, there sure are a lot of people who b!tch n complain like a bunch of little girls.

Regardless, to follow the suit of the negativity of this thread would be hypocritical so in the spirit of what is supposed to be a Happy Holiday season... Merry Xmas and Happy Holidays. Now go have a Christmas drink and chill out...

LOL loose my cool??.. Sorry That's how my siblings and I exchange Christmas Greetings.. But then again my family is pretty damn close to that portrayed in the "THE REF"... PC is PC.. I work with people of numerous creeds and colors..If /when I get wished happy a myriad of greetings and I respond back with Merry Christmas.. Simple as that I don't know what religion they follow and I don't care.. I know what religion I follow and I'm not ashamed of it..

I've stopped apologizing for being white and/or male and/or somewhat Christian and/or employed and/or conservative and/or a gun owner and/or having an opinion. If you want to that's your choice.
