Happy New Year CGN: .50 Beowulf Mags Work Awesome *VIDEO*

The coolest thing would be if our government would wake up and reliaze that this whole magazine restriction thing is retarded and that they are getting rid of it but...
Then again they make way more money this way and also comon sense and gun control are 2 words never used together.
So I would rate this vid a close second :p

I wonder if Magpul will make .50 Beo P-mags? Or here's another thought, what if RRA made a .50 beo pistol, and then came out with LAR-15 mags for it and Alexander Arms can just shove it...?

I could use a 10 round .50 Beo mag that accepted 30 rds of 5.56....

Couldn't a company just do a run of mags marked only for use in this rifle:

Perhaps I'm missing something here. Just like the AIA Enfield mags.

Either way I think if a company produced .50 Beo pistols I'd buy one, just for the mags ;)

I guess 'fantasy' is eligible for "Spaced-out Sundays"... The US is on the verge of implementing a magazine ban on anything over 10 rounds, so there's absolutely zero chance of this ever happening here now.

This continued talk about .50 Beowulf "pistol" magazines is beyond pointless. It's never going to happen because in addition to acquiring the rights, you'll never find a manufacturer interested in re-tooling to produce these. And then there's the "minor" aspect of having the RCMP approve these... All this talk is almost certainly guaranteed to bring the kind of unwanted attention on the .50 Beowulf that no one desires.

Going the other way then the OPs original content... Does anyone know if you can cycle propper 50 Beowulf cartridges out of a standard Tavor magazine (the ones that come with the Tavor)?

This is a bit off topic but several years ago I built a 7.62x39 AR15 upper. I could not find any 7.62x39 magazines at the time so I called the CFC and they put me in touch with a tech there. This tech told me that that I could mark some of my 223 AR15 mags as 7.62x39 and adjust the blocking rivet so that they would hold 5rds of 7.62x39 ammo. This was well before the days of AR15 pistol mags or the AIA 7.62x51 mags. It is interesting that they said I could do this, to me it shows how their interpretation of the regs/act can change over time, I'm sure it would be considered illegal now but it would be funny if all we had to do was remark AR15 mags to 50 BW then re-pin them. I should have got the tech to put it in writing.
