My brother and father have a Dillon 550b reloading press they use for .45ACP.
I was planning to buy dies and a conversion kit to do .223 rem. We can share equipment and have a good time reloading together.
My wife just bought me a RCBS rockchucker master reloading kit for my birthday. (She went to WS and asked the guy "What should I buy my husband who likes guns?" I love my wife.)
I hadn't previously considered buying a single stage press, but I'm tempted to keep the kit. I think I'll buy the conversion kit and dies for "The Family Dillon" reloading machine anyway.
Should I keep the Rockchucker Master Reloading Kit? or should I return it and get something else?
If I get started using the Dillon progressive press will I ever want to use a single stage press? Will the single stage seem painfully slow?
Should I just continue the investment in Dillon stuff, or will I enjoy the Rockchucker?
I don't hunt (yet) but really enjoy blasting paper and empty soup cans with my AR180b. I will probably buy a bolt gun in .223 and an AR15 at some point.
CGN Sages of reloading, what should I do?
